today's lessons were pretty boringg. yeahhx. no jogging. but still. b-o-r-i-n-g. bleahx. shall talk about school. first period, higher mother tongue, followed by ss, english, recess, reading, bio, a.maths and chem. okay. today was like dam stressful. cos 3 tests in one row!! omg. during chinese, had summary (chang wen suo duan).. man i didnt know there was compre lorh.. then me and hui min were like kinda freaked out.. cos nvr study for compre.. hahas.. but overall.. quite okay.. i think. then ss.. we only got 25 mins to complete a qn on causal kayy! and its like 12 marks.. i thought my links were quite weak and i didnt really elaborate much.. so there.. prepare to flunk.. plus i only compared once.. cos no time.. i was trying to compare c2 with c3 when mrs koh said pens down and i hurriedly cancel off the sentence.. haha. then during english which was right after ss.. we had argumantative essay.. the three topics for us to choose were all quite challenging lorh.. i spent practically 15 mins deciding on the question to answer.. in the end chose no.3.. it went like this: 'Man are beings which are responsible for their own decisions that they have made and the results of their actions. do you agree?' my god. its so chim. my points were like so weak. and shallow. ha. nvmnvmnvm. i cant really remember the exact phrasing of the qn but they were somewhat lyk tt.. the first qn was on students being dull and uncreative after graduating.. second qn was like totally crappy.. 'Expensive toys are fun to play with. Do you agree?'.. so weird la. i think i went out of point.. then recess. finally. normally i seldom go for recess, but prefer to stay in the classroom and chit-chat or slack.. but today was like so stressed out.. so decided to go and take a break.. then after that it was reading.. ive finished let the circle be unbroken and started on the great gatsby.. it was totally hard to understand as i found the language a bit weird.. plus the sentences were like in long strings. then after that is bio. got back test paper. i thought i would flunk it lor. seriously. but i managed to scrape an A1! omg. its like exactly 75%. woo-hoo! highest was 25.5. upon 30. propro. :)) okay so i didnt got the 6 marks qn totally wrong.. managed to get 3 marks.. but the biuret test qn was like completely oop{out-of-point}.. and mr lim was like talking about many ppl writing benedicts test cos we asked our frens.. diao -_-.. it was until the next day then i knew that the tests were different.. hah. im an honest girl okay! T_T. then after that was a maths. anger started yeahyeahyeahyeahyeahyeahyeah-ing and me and hui min were like trying to picture the whole class responding lyk tt during bio after mr lim asked 'ur understand or not?'.. so farnie la.. somemore got tune one okay.. haa.. kudos to anger for 'livening' up our class.. hhaha.. then ms chin were like 'ssshhhh!! why ur today so hyper?' diaoz.. :X then during amaths she told us this weird story involving indices.. okla actually not really but i didnt know how she derived that statement. but the story was quite logical.. okay.. shall share it here.. once upon a time, there was this beggar who went to this rich place.. and the king there was like trying to do anything which could put the beggar off his land as he cant tolerate that.. so he said to the beggar," i will provide you with ample food for the whole month. just be reasonable and tell me how many grains of rice do you want each day." then the beggar said,"for the first day, i want 2 grains. for the second day, i want 2 grains. for the third day, i want 4 grains. for the fourth day, i want 8 grains.. etcetcetc.." as the king did not know what was the trick behind his sentences.. he agreed to his request and became bankrupt within a month. in the end, the poor beggar became very rich. okay. that was the end of the story. from this story, ms chin told us that we can get the formula for the no of grains that the beggar wants each day.. its '2 to the power of (n-1), where n represents the number of days'.. so if u use a calculator to calculate the number of grains that the beggar will get in a month, which is '2 to the power of (30)', assuming that there are 31 days in a mth.. he would have been able to get like some 7 or 8 digit number of grains.. and if you assume that a normal 5kg or 10kg bag of rice contains 1000000 grains.. and u divide.. the beggar would have gotten some 2000 over bags of rice! interesting rite. hhaas. some ppl have heard of this story before.. but most ppl in my class were somewhat amazed la.. by the cleverness of the beggar.. hahas.. okay.. last period was basically chem.. and we went thru the non-star ws on covalent cpds.. (compounds.. as how ms sim shortened it..) and as the majority of us didnt bring the balancing eqn ws.. she decided to go thru it the next lesson.. during chem very funny lor.. evrybody dam tired then anger was lyk' lets call it a day'.. and jiani went on, 'lets call it a week'.. then ms sim was like shocked lor.. hahas.. since oac coming.. shouldnt have so much of lessons rite.. bleahx.. im talking crap.. going to maple now.. how come so long and im still stuck at lvl 31!!! lol. im currently training on a noob -- lvl 17 warrior.. the lvl 31 accnt is fighter.. aiming to be a crusader.. thats all for today.. :))
this week + last week was damn stressful. and i mean it okay. what with bio test, english test, chinese test, a maths test, e maths test, chinese oral, handbells, blh blh blh coming up + a ton of homework.. how can u expect me to not be stressed!?!? -_- stupid. whye chemisry so many ws one.. and bio.. i lazy to do.. think physics is the slackest science subject.. hehhs.. i think i may flunk bio.. cos that stupid biuret test.. i went to write reducing sugar and fats one.. and the six marks qn also not very sure.. plus the last one i anyhow write.. then the drawing qn also very weird lor.. aiyahh. in all.. quite hard.. blahhx. quite happy that i scored an a1 for geog!! ((: hahas. ive always loved human geog. so ya. :) i hate lit and history. today had grade 5 internal theory exam at cms-punggol. 2 whole hours. so scary. lucky i knew how to do MOST of the questions. but i still got an italian word wrong. 2 marks gone. so there. composing was surprisingly treble! i cant believe it. i thought they would come out bass and then i surely DIE! MWAHAHAs. :DD but first qn quite hard lor.. siao. i gor segregated. sitting alone in a room do-ing the paper. POOR, poor me. ;) later went to ntuc and bought the 1.5l ice mountain mineral water. didnt expect it to be so cheap 65c only. hehs. then went home. so tired. oac is coming. next wk got ss causal qn, a maths logarithms and surds, chinese summary writing and eng argumentative essay. ohmygod. how can the teachers be so cruel! summore got handbells grp 1 on monday. argh! i cannot tahan anymore. btw. let the circle be unbroken was N-I-C-E. mrs teo dam farnie.. ask santosi how she managed to read that fast. of cos la. she evryday bring to assembly (morning). durh! :X haha but i faster. :S psst. my mp3's working! yay. lucky got warranty sia. phew. but how come the battery so fast flat. eeks. signing off here. :D good night.
